He found opportunities there that were not available to him in Australia, but finally decided to leave for family reasons. Bruce Munro’s beautiful installation at Uluru in Central Australia ‘Field of Light’ has been drawing delighted viewers for some time now. In fact way longer than Munro intended, as his artworks are designed to be ephemeral. But it has proved so popular it has remained , and now he has plans to make another, different installation in Byron Shire in Northern NSW Australia.
