Mary-Lou Stephens works in radio and it shows in this funny, self deprecating expose of how she learnt to come to terms with everyone around her by coming to terms with herself by undertaking vispassana meditation. Along the way she pokes gentle fun at the whole idea of locking yourself in a room of strangers and not talking for ten days while sitting in ever excruciating agony. Unashamedly honest, here she is reading the first chapter from her book in which her dream job is trashed and she meets the boss from hell.
